Wigwam Visual is a small, Bristol based architectural visualisation studio with experience worldwide.

We work with some of the world's top architects and developers producing a wide range of content from concept studies to planning and marketing images, animation and VR content. We bring something new to each project, pushing the envelope to exceed client expectations, while delivering a highly personal and tailored service. We are based on Spike Island, an artistic hub in central Bristol.

Concept/planning images, animations and interactive tours

When time is of the essence and you need to convey your ideas and designs to review panels, stakeholders or the wider design team. We have worked on a large number of UDP (urban design panels) creating complete packages including a suite of images, an animation and a real-time element either as a fully immersive interactive walkthrough or a 360 tour. We leverage ground breaking software to produce these animations, images and tours with quick turn arounds and virtually no rendering time compared to traditional methods. We create extremely realistic lighting and materials with scenes fully populated with foliage, cars, entourage and limitless other animated elements. In early project stages we can also work alongside the design team to create images of various building design options before landing on the final proposal.

Process

1. Quote & timeline
Agree on pricing plan and schedule based on the quantity and style of work, the amount of modelling and any extras, such as photography.
2. Brief
Discuss the materiality, key concepts, camera angles, lighting and mood to determine a brief for the project.
3. Composition
The model is imported or created and basic lighting is set up, the scene is explored and various composition options are created. Basic renders are sent for confirmation.
4. Lighting & environment
Lighting options for each view are created and sent for confirmation.
5. Materiality & extras
Materials are created and applied. Extras such as entourage, props and trees are added.
6. Drafts & final draft
A number of iterations are created with increasing levels of detail and refinement until we reach a final draft.
